Shoreline

Shoreline is a big community nestled between Seattle and Snohomish County, just 9 miles from downtown Seattle. It has a unique history, so you can be a part of it if you decide to move here. Before becoming a city in 1995, Shoreline was an island of unincorporated King County. Now, this is a huge neighborhood with a reputation of strong community, excellent schools and amazing parks. Besides public and private schools, there is the Shoreline Community College that attracts lots of students to move here. The city is safe even though it is large. If you move to Shoreline, you will have beach access and sports of any sort – tennis, skateboard, jogging, athletic fields, playgrounds, hiking trails. Whatever comes to your mind! At the very beginning, we are going to say it is not cheap to live here, but it is definitely worth it. What brings a lot of people in Bothell is boat traffic. This is why it is popular, not only for residents, but for tourists as well. For leisure, there are a bunch of parks in the area where you can jog, walk or have a picnic with your family. There are a lot of festivals and events throughout the year in Bothell, so you will have what to do for fun throughout the year. Some of the festivals are: The City of Bothell Freedom Festival, City of Bothell Riverfest, The Summits of Bothell bike ride, The Bothell Farmers Market at Country Village etc. This town is also ideal for families with kids because there are very good schools in the area. It is also a home to Cascadia College and University of Washington. Don’t miss to check Anderson School, which is a former junior high school that currently operates as a renovated restaurant, bar and hotel.
